Extreme long shot- An extreme long shot is done to show a setting/place. This is also known as an establishing shot, it is usually taken from the furthest point away. The main actor or point of attention will be in this shot somewhere.
Long shot- On the right we have a long shot, a long shot is a shot that shows the persons entire body and also shows the setting around them. Unlike the extreme long shot, we see less of the background/setting but we see it in higher detail. You can also see more details on the characters such as their facial expressions and any parts of clothing that is meant to stand out.
Medium Long Shot- The medium long shot shows the person from the waist up, this means you can see more detail on them such as facial expressions. It also shows parts of the background around them, this gives you a chance to see where they are.

Extreme Close Up- Above we can see an extreme close up. Extreme close ups are taken very close to a persons face or to the main subject. They show large detail of a subject but most oftenly part of someone's face, they show no background at all.

Over The Shoulder Shot- The over the shoulder shot is a shot that is taken over someone's shoulder, this is mostly used when two people are having a conversation or when one person is speaking to an unknown person. This is shown above.

Canted Angle- A canted angle shot is when the camera is held on a tilt. These are used mostly in horror films to show instability, imbalance or a transition. This is done using a handheld camera.
High Angle Shot- High angle shots are used to show a difference in size of characters. The camera will be held high above the head of the subject/character and slightly tilted down, an example of when this would be used is when a bully looks down to a person they are bullying. It can also be used to show a difference of authority such as a teacher and a student.
Low Angle Shot- Above we have an example of a low angle shot. This is the opposite of a high angle shot, it is taken from lower down and is used to show a character that's either in high authority or is very tall.

Two Shot- A two shot features two people in the camera, from this we can see body language and then interpret their relationship and what each character seems to be like. The two shot may also show us the authority of each character.
Roles- Theo: My role was to take each photograph and to remember what shots we needed to take, I also uploaded the pictures and wrote the descriptions for each shot.
Ollie: My role was to model for the photos.
